 Darrin Conroy darrin.conroy@nysbdc.org

DarrinDarrin has been with the SBDC since 1993, and has been its Library Director since July 2002. Darrin’s duties include research services, acquiring print and electronic resources, statistical compilation & reporting, listserv management, outreach and education, and lots of other things. He also proofreads and edits numerous publications and reports within the Central Office (a by-product of his previous work history in the publishing industry). He has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Siena College, and a Master of Library Science from the University at Albany.

JoseeThe past dozen years of working with the SBDC has built on Josée’s experience of working for management consultant and business libraries serving Fortune 500 clients. Josée’s primary focus lies in reference and research services. She also manages cataloging and circulation duties, the Pinterest account, and has contributed to collection development and the development of the new library catalog. She holds a BFA and MLS from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn.

BrendaBrenda joined the SBDC Research Network in August 2019. She spent ten years as a news librarian with the Chicago Tribune and prior to that worked as the Hospital Library Services Program Manager for the Southeastern NY Library Resources Council. In her other life, Brenda is a playwright. She holds a BA in Anthropology from George Washington University, an MLS from the University at Albany and an MA in Writing from DePaul University.

EdEd Santiago is the fourth member of our library crew, having joined in May 2020. Ed has a wealth of library experience, with recent stints at Mount St. Mary College (in Newburgh), Consumer Reports, and at Marist College. He has an expansive knowledge of research resources, with experience in bibliographic instruction, competitive intelligence, and legal research. He holds a BA in Public Administration from John Jay College, and an MLIS from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. Ed has a passion for business research, and is a welcome addition to our team!
